The 2017 NFL and NCAA season fan food menus from Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Executive Chef John Brenning are taking the gameday experience to new and exciting levels of flavor, with the addition of new offerings that reflect the dynamic modern dining marketplace and provide just what fans are craving.  Chef Brenning and the Legends at LA Memorial Coliseum culinary team have developed new and innovative big flavor food and beverage features – from house smoked BBQ, traditional Mexican street food, and Hawaiian-style dishes – all celebrating the diverse culinary heritage of the United States, and honoring Los Angeles as a center of fabulous food culture innovation.

225 Smokehouse: a new destination where fans are served gameday greatness in smoked meats with such amazing new savory selections as: 

  • Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich: slow smoked pork shoulder, East Carolina mustard sauce, and tangy slaw on an artisan onion roll
  • Lone Star Brisket Sandwich: mesquite smoked brisket, Smokey sweet BBQ sauce, and creamy slaw on an artisan onion roll
  • Burnt Ends Brat:  an artisan Bratwurst pilled high with brisket burnt ends, creamy slaw, grilled onions and BBQ sauce

  • Chicken Flautas:  a lighter version of taquitos, tender chicken rolled in soft flour tortillas and fried golden brown, served with guacamole, sour cream, salsa molcajete and salsa verde
  • LA Street Dog:  a bacon wrapped hot dog covered with grilled onions, jalapenos, pico de gallo and a lime crema.

Island Style:  Hawaii’s delicious traditions of freshest catches and slow roasted pork are center-flavor at this new high-energy stand in the Food Court

  • Aloha Poke Bowl: fresh tuna marinated in ponzu, soy sauce and ginger, served over sticky rice, crunchy seaweed salad, scallions and masago
  • Musubi: a Hawaiian favorite of glazed spam and seasoned rice, wrapped in nori

Food Court:  All guests to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum have access to the Food Court, a grouping of various stands each offering unique and delicious menu options that span the country and the globe. As the only location to purchase frozen cocktails and with ample shaded seating, this is the ultimate place to stay cool in the hot LA sun.

Also featured in the Food Court are local favorites such as Randy’s Donuts and DogHaus, as well as Melissa’s Farmers Market stand with amazing fresh salads from local produce.

Corona Beach:  Guests looking to find their beach at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum are invited to Corona Beach in the east end zone. Featuring a full cocktail bar and – of course – Corona, there is always a good time to be had at this refreshing destination.

This location features TVs showing all of the day’s football games and if you get hungry, there is a fleet of food trucks right next door that offer some of LA’s favorite street food.  Popular food trucks have included Trejo’s Tacos, Pink Taco, Slammin’ Sliders and Baby’s Badass Burgers.

LA Memorial Coliseum’s beverage offering for the 2017 NFL and NCAA football seasons includes some transformative approaches to service that bring fans both excellence and convenience in portability in the fun and exciting gameday environment:

Taste of California Craft Beer:   Created in LA’s love of craft beer and the quality options that the state has to offer, the new destination Taste of California Craft Beer at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum now allows fans to take a tour of their favorite craft beers without leaving the stadium. Fans can walk the Peristyle and try their favorite California beers from south to north:  beginning in San Diego with Ballast Point, continuing with LA breweries such as Angel City, 3 Weavers and Golden Road, and finally ending in Northern California with Sierra Nevada. This unique opportunity allows fans to revisit their top craft beers and discover some new favorites along the way.

Cocktails on Tap:   This innovation of premium cocktail service brings two featured cocktails to Draft Beer locations at LA Memorial Coliseum:  a Margarita on the Rocks and a Twisted Lemonade. Both cocktails will be served in the Los Angeles Coliseum Themed Souvenir Cup.
