High temperatures are expected for this event. The Coliseum seating bowl has very limited shade available. Here are helpful tips to stay safe and cool:

BRING WATER

  • Bottled water is allowed to be brought into the Coliseum with no restrictions for size or quantity.  Bottles must be non-metallic.
  • Refillable non-metallic water bottles are allowed (must be empty upon entry).  Refilling stations are located near restrooms on the Concourse and Upper Concourse levels.

GUEST SERVICES

  • Free cups of ice for refillable water stations are available at all permanent concession stands.
  • Cool-air fans will run at all entrance gates.
  • Shade tent with seating is available at First Aid Gate 1.
  • Shaded areas are also available at Heritage Concourse (Level 1) and Olympic Plaza.
  • Bags of ice are available at Guest Experience locations: Gate 1, Gate 11, Gate 23 and Upper Concourse 17.
  • First Aid stations are located inside the venue at Gate 1 and Gate 16.

PREVENTION TIPS

  • Drink plenty of water before and during the game. Alcohol, coffee or soft drink consumption is not recommended.
  • Take frequent breaks in the shade.
  • Wear light-colored/light-weight clothing.
  • Wear sunscreen and sunglasses.
  • Notify event staff immediately if you are experiencing signs of heat illness.

Please note that umbrellas are not allowed inside the Coliseum due to obstructing views and risk of injury to other guests.  If you are at the event and feeling unwell, please ask event staff for the nearest First Aid station located at Gate 1 or Gate 16, ask event staff to call an EMT for assistance, or you can text or call 213-263-4007 for assistance.
